A foreign language is an efficient tool for international communication, and it opens a fresh window to the world around you. If a few languages are used, the communication between nations would become easier.
对于国际交流来说外语是有效的工具，外语为你开了一扇窗去认识周围的世界。如果仅有仅使用少数的语言，那么国与国之间的交流将变得更容易。
Languages are cultural heritage from ancestors and they are the carriers of culture, which make speakers have cultural identity. Language extinction means the loss of culture.
语言是继承自祖先的文化遗产，也是文化的载体，这些会使人们有文化认同感。语言的消亡意味着文化的损失。
The benefits which would flow from the existence of a global language are considerable. One of them is that it facilitates the exchange of information from one part of the world the other with ease. It is through the existence of a global language like English that peace and trade has been enhanced between dissimilar countries。
一种全球化的语言所带来的益处是显而易见的。其中之一就是通用语言可以促进不同地区间的文化交流。借助于英语这样的通用语言，不同国家的和平和贸易得以加强。
The disappearance of a language is likely to corrode cultural diversity.
语言的消亡很可能会侵蚀文化多样性。
食物类
快餐的优缺点：
Convenience food tends to be cheaper than the alternatives, and people can also save time as there is very low or no waiting time for food to be served.
快餐通常比其他食物更便宜，同时就餐者可以节约时间因为快餐不需要等很长时间。
传统食物优点：
In many cultures, traditional meals continue to be shared in regular family gatherings, weddings and festivities, cooking traditional meals and sitting at the same table with family, relatives, and friends confirms the sense of belonging, being part of a community.
在很多文化中，传统食物依然出现在定期家庭聚会、婚礼和节日上。烹制传统食物，和家人、亲戚和朋友坐在同一张桌子前可以强化作为群体的归属感。
