The boy told St. George that the dragon was not like the other dragons. He was a romantic poet, but not a scary beast. But the boy was so genuine that St. George wished to trust the boy. He asked the boy to arrage the whole thing too. Although the boy was rather nettled for both the dragon and St. George leaving things to him, he decided to do it. He persuaded the man to go to have a talk with the dragon. They strolled up to the cave. The dragon didn't want to fight with the man firstly, but the man and the boy told the dragon that after the fight he could be more socially than before and would be accepted by the villagers. The dragon agreed their plan of taking a fake fight in the end.
