#1. What does the section say?
At the beginning, Haw was frightened walking in the unknown. But to his surprise, he found that he started to enjoy himself more and more. He realized that --when you stop being afraid, you feel good! With imagining himself enjoying new cheese, he thought everything went better.
#2. What does the section mean for you? Give a story from your life.
After reading this passage, I considered one way to persist is to imagine what success looks like.
We all encounter difficulties, some of which we are afraid of, some we are not good at, and some we are trying hard to meet our expectations... But in order to achieve the ultimate goal, under the intense competitive pressure, we can only choose to insist.
I was not good at chemistry when I was in high school. There were too many trivial points for me to memorize and recite, but I could not always recite them. The more I resist it, the less I wanted to learn it, and the less I learned, the worse I mastered it. But the teacher enlightened me that if you think it is actually not so difficult, you learn well after the harvest of a high score examination paper, looking at the full hook, what an achievement thing! It was only with the joy and satisfaction of imagining that I would eventually overcome it that I gradually became less resistant to chemistry, and my grades finally rose steadily.
All in all, imagining what success looks like is really a good way to keep going.
