在歌德的童话《青蛇与美百合》中，国王与蛇有这样一段对话：
"What is more Noble than Gold?" "Light" replies the Snake. "And what is more refreshing than Light?" asks the King. "Speech" replies the Snake.
比金子更宝贵的是什么呢？是光。比光更让人耳目一新的是什么呢？是话语。
话语中蕴涵着能量和智慧。人类历史中充满了苦难。我们在经历痛苦的时候，可以从前人的话语中汲取力量和勇气。摘录一段最近给我很多鼓励的话语，来自Viktor Frankl医生的《Men’s search for meaning》一书：
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
