Hello everyone. I'm very glad that I can stand here and give you a speech.Today The topic of my speech is one eye witness is better than ten hearsays.
There is a ancient saying :‘ One look is worth a thousand words.’It’s truly right.A man who hasn't been a sea can't imagine how vast the sea is.Ialways think good thing in the world needs to be felt with our hearts be seen with our own eyes
I've heard a lot of people describe Niagara Falls,but l didn't realize it’ s so beautiful until I saw it by my own eyes. Asa child, I believed that Niagara Falls, like Mt. Rushmore and the Grand Canyon,was a real attraction of the world. Schoolbooks called it ‘ one of thegreatest wonders of the world’, bringing my mind to pictures of a far ,unattainable place. I was given the facts and numbers about it, but never coudI imagine the actual size and greatness of the falls. Niagara Falls, like everygreat sight, can hardly be described by words.
I wonder if one day I coudl go there to see its beauty in person. In the summer of 2013,I went to America . I finally get to the Niagara Fall swith excitement It was so wonderful !Whenever in a year, whether it’s thebeautiful rainbows glistening in the mist, or the magnificent ice bridge created by the cold of winter, Niagara Falls always seems to amaze it’svie wers. It seemed like a larger-than-life miracle of nature.
If I haven't been there by myself, I won't feel it so real .So I think eyewitness is better than ten hearsays.That’s all.Thank you！
