首先是学到了一个通用知识，戏剧，各种表演的节目单，在英国英语中叫theatre programmes，在美国英语中叫playbills, 为更喜欢美国英语的叫法，更形象贴切，英国这种称呼很容易与program节目本身搞混。

put off 不仅有推迟，延期的意思，而在本句中更表示吓退，吓阻，让人望而却步的意思。
3、Yeah, audiences were very familiar with leading actors and big names would draw huge crowds.(C20 Test3 Par3第15句)
Draw huge crowds. 吸引很多人，吸引一批人。
