Politics also has a part to play. Some public institution prioritize essential workers over older people in the name of social justice, despite a higher mortality rate. The public pressure from voters is huge. The pharmacy all over the country are urged to move quickly to administer vaccines, but the bureaucratic formalities still hold back the process.
