三人居里，今天轮到小羽搞卫生，她做得很彻底。
晚餐过后，小羽躺在长沙发休息，凯尔斜躺在两人座看电视，Leo 坐在单人座，手拿道德经。
小羽：凯尔... 我们去街对面吃冰淇淋，好不好？
凯尔：气象报告说，快要下雨了。
小羽：才对面嘛，我们快去快回。我现在特别想吃海盐味道冰淇淋哟... 今天流了很多汗，需要补补盐分嘛。
凯尔听了啼笑皆非，但只犹豫一下就突然拿起钥匙说：你在家等，我去替你买回来。
Leo 看了，忍不住开口：公主病。
凯尔买了冰淇淋回来，小羽从沙发一弹而起，一点也不缺盐的样子。
接过了螺旋状冰淇淋，小羽并不坐在自己的座位吃，而是走去 Leo 跟前，盘腿坐在地上，慢慢一口一口舔着吃。
Leo 继续看书，不为所动。
小羽各种姿势舔，嘴巴还抽空说 yummy yummy，眼睛却盯着 Leo 看。
两分钟后，Leo 合起书，退回房间。
小羽起身坐到凯尔身边，口袋里的手机响了一下。
小羽掏出手机，是个 Leo 发来的信息，只有一个字 ：Sorry
凯尔看到，笑着连连点头。
小羽：你点头什么意思？
凯尔：我点头，庆幸我会做人。
The Three of Us · Knowing How to Be Human
In the shared little household, today it was Little Quill’s turn to do the cleaning.
She did it thoroughly, leaving no corner untouched.After dinner, Little Quill stretched out on the long sofa to rest.
Cael was lounging on the two-seater, eyes on the TV.
Leo sat upright in the armchair, holding a copy of Dao De Jing.Little Quill: Cael… let’s go across the street for ice cream, shall we?
Cael: Weather forecast says rain is coming.
Little Quill: It’s just across the street, we’ll be back before it starts. I’m craving sea-salt flavor… I sweated so much today, I need to replenish my salt, right?
Cael gave a wry smile at the excuse, hesitated only a moment before he suddenly grabbed the keys.
“Stay here, I’ll fetch it for you.”Leo looked up and couldn’t help remarking:
“Princess syndrome.”Cael came back with the ice cream.
Little Quill bounced up from the sofa, not looking the least bit salt-deprived.She took the tall swirl cone, but instead of eating in her own seat,
she sat cross-legged on the floor right in front of Leo,
licking it slowly, one bite at a time.Leo kept reading, unmoved.
Little Quill tried every angle of licking, whispering “yummy, yummy” with her mouth,
but her eyes stayed fixed on Leo.After two minutes, Leo closed the book and retreated to his room.
Little Quill moved over to sit beside Cael.
Her phone buzzed in her pocket.It was a message from Leo—just one word:
Sorry.Cael chuckled and nodded.
Little Quill: Why are you nodding?
Cael: I’m nodding because… I’m glad I know how to be human.
