正确使用一些句子结构，可以让我们的句式更多样。这不论对口语，还是写作，都是有好处的。

1. although 引导的状语从句
注意，although后面得跟句子哦。
例如：
Although the production has stopped for now, the destruction left behind is enormous.
尽管生产现在停止了，但其遗留下的破坏却是巨大的。
2. in spite of 引导短语
注意，in spite of 不能引导句子哟。有些同学会在in spite of 后面接句子，这样做是不正确的哈。
例如：
We went to the park in spite of the rain.
尽管在下雨，我们还是去了公园。
如果后面想跟句子，可以用in spite of the fact that……
例如：
The manager hired him in spite of the fact that he had never sung on stage.
尽管他从未在舞台上唱过歌，经理还是雇佣了他。
3. despite 引导短语
despite = in spite of，两者用法一样。
例如：
We went to the park despite the rain.
尽管在下雨，我们还是去了公园。
如果后面想跟句子，可以用despite the fact that……
