The Worldly Hope men set their Hearts upon

Turns Ashes - or it prospers; and anon,

Like Snow upon the Desert's dusty Face,

Lighting a little hour or two - is gone.

人们放在心上的世俗之愿转瞬

化为灰烬——或繁荣；或沉寂，

如雪落沙漠布满尘灰的脸，

闪耀一时半刻——后又随风飘散。
