To grant students' more rights, the idea of linking teachers 'salaries with students 'evaluation emerges. Opinions vary when it comes to the implementation of the idea at school.Some claim that it does good to the improvement of the teaching quality .Others ,however,argue that it may mislead teachers to please the students. As far as I am concerned, I am convinced that its adverse effects outweigh its positive ones.
Initially,students are not educational experts,whose evaluation may be unprofessional ,unreasonable and unreliable. Mostly,they evaluate their teachers based on how they feel ,which is subjunctive and one-sided. Besides,given the right to evaluate teachers that is linked with teachers 'bread,students may abuse it without taking any responsibility for their evaluation,which will inevitably affect teachers' initiatives to improve their teaching. What's more,teachers are forced to transfer their focus from teaching to making their students satisfied and pleased.
In summary, on account of the above points, I believe that the demerits of granting students 'right to evaluate their teachers linked with their salaries exceed its merits.
