The work will come again, but childhood won't.
读到这里被感动了一下,"工作还会有,但孩子的童年一起不复返"。让我想起自己的童年,没有爸爸的陪伴。因为工作,爸爸常年在外,我跟着妈妈生话,所以对于爸爸的印象是很模糊的,虽然每次他回来总会给我买当时最新奇的玩具,但我还是和他不够亲近。心里总觉得有些怕他,害怕和他独处,也无话交谈。慢慢长大之后,变得懂事,明白爸爸有他的难处,也有他的苦衷。但以后如果我有孩子了,我希望自己能够在他们的童年里是一个温暖的角色,能陪伴他们。
今天作者提出了10个alternative centers, 表明了我们在生活中总是受这样或那样的影响,我们每个人都有自己的centers, 但总是被家庭,朋友,工作,金钱,娱乐等牵着鼻子走,为他人他事而活。这样我们活的没有自我,没有真正的找到自己生话的意义所在,自己的价值所在,所以我们要重新identifying our centers, 明白我们真正想要什么,怎么为自己而活。
