This calculator is used for constant voltage turbulence chargers. For lithium manganese batteries (ML), the maximum charge/discharge times (battery life) are affected by the depth of discharge (DoD). The calculator can estimate the life of the ML battery given the depth of discharge. The calculator uses an estimated battery load to determine the backup time of the battery relative to the depth of discharge. The calculation is accurate and the operation is simple.
