I have used the method of building frames and drawing mind maps to read English novels. From my perspective, the method is extremely useful for me.
To be plain with you, I used the method in one of my contemporary college English books' passages yesterday.
First of all, I read the whole passage for the first time. Then I wrote down the frame of the passage. After that, the vein of this passage is clear.
Consequently, I was relaxed in class today for the reason that I grasped the gist of this passage.
