最近开始读王尔德的《温夫人的扇子》，刚开场就让人若有所思。

如果女性没有自我意识并加以调整的话，地位和处境不会有任何改变，古今中外皆如此。

比如：

1、"Our husbands would forget we even existed if we didn't nag them from time to time, just to remind them that we have a perfect legal right to do SO."

大致意思是：如果我们不经常唠叨他们，我们的丈夫甚至会忘记我们的存在。

2、"It's a strange thing about the rather old-fashionedütitat) game of marriage,

said Lord Darlington,"that though nowadays the wives hold the best cards, most of the time they still lose the game."

大致意思是：妻子们拥有最好的牌，大多数时候他们还是输游戏。"

3、"Ah! You are starting to want to reform me. It is a dangerous thing to reform any one, Lady Windermere,"said Lord Darlington.

大致意思是：改造任何人都是一件危险的事。
