三个就好
1) afford to do sth
① I can't afford a condom.
② I can't afford to go to USA.
③ I can't to hit a BMW car.
Remark:
用以描述能承担得起某费用，have money to do sth. 常以否定形式出现，表明自己没有钱，承担不起这些费用（所以不去做某件事），穷啊，吃土啊，哪有这么多钱呀。
比'have no money to do sth'要多一层[难以承担之意]。
2) face up to sth
① Please face up to the fact/reality/truth that you are a genius.
② We have to face up to the possibility that sometimes people die.
Remark:
生活中常常会出现一些我们不想面对但又必须面对的事情，作为朋友，我们需要提醒和鼓励我们的朋友去勇敢面对现实。比如有时候我们真的真的很棒很帅很美很聪明，但又不好意思接受。这时候，please face up to the fact that you're damn good!!
3) put aside
① Ok. Put this aside. Let's solve this problem first.
② Put this money aside. We need them when we reach the moon.
Remark:
把某些东西先放一边，以后再处理或使用。比如把女人先放一边；把雪糕先放一边…
