1. brink= the point where a new or different situation is about to begin
e.g. Extreme stress had driven him to the brink of a nervous breakdown.
2. deserted= If a place is deserted, there are no people in it.
3. resentment= to feel angry because you have been forced to accept someone or something that you do not like
e.g. As you explore these differences you will feel walls of resentment and mistrust melting down.
4. recede= to move further away into the distance, or to become less clear or less bright:
e.g. As the boat picked up speed, the coastline receded into the distance until finally it became invisible.
5. unsolicited= not asked for
e.g. To offer a man unsolicited advice is to presume that he doesn’t know what to do or that he can’t do it on his own.
