迪特里希.潘霍华在他的《试探》一书中有这么的一句话“我们一旦为欲望所辖制，神对我们来说就变得不真实”。唯有坚持就近神才能成为敬虔的人。
正直和清洁
① 保守圣洁的心
效法耶稣喜爱公义恨恶罪恶，因为清心的人必得见神。因试探无处不在也必在你心门外恋慕你，现在就当立志保守你的心，叫你在面对试探时能作出正确的选择，不至于陷在试探中而生出罪来。存着圣洁敬畏的心，就能每时每刻逃离一切试探直奔向耶稣。当持续的选择公义逃避罪恶，直到这持续性的选择成为你喜悦作的事。切忌藉着试探来测试自己的抑制能力；你即时转向神的决定将救你脱离世界给与你在灵性上、道德上、性欲上和伦理上的败坏。
② 保守圣洁的头
坚持研读神的话语，你的心意将被更新而变化。让真理引导你进入神的圣洁与神的心意，叫你能察验对错。
③ 保守圣洁的手
无忿怒、无争论，举起圣洁的手敬拜。生命务要常常结出圣灵的果子，更要结出神的爱的果子。

INTEGRITY AND PURITY
Bonhoffer said in his book Temptations: “When lust takes control, at that moment God becomes unreal to us”. The only way to remain Godly men and women is to stay as close to the Lord as possible. Here are some guidelines.
KEEP YOUR HEART HOLY: Be like Jesus who loved righteousness and hated wickedness for blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Decide to guard your heart now so that when the time comes, you will be prepared to make the right decision and not give in to the temptation to sin for indeed temptation will surely come. Have a Holy fear of temptation so that you will flee from all temptations and run straight towards Jesus each time, every time. Do it consistently till it becomes even more pleasurable to decide for righteousness than the death pleasures of sin. Never ever put yourself in a position to see how good your resistance is. Your split second PREPARED decision to turn to God will save you suffering the destructive consequences of lowering your spiritual, moral, sexual and ethical purity to the standards of the world.
KEEP YOUR HEAD HOLY: Continuous study of the Word will transform you by the renewing of your mind. Let the knowledge of the Truth lead to holiness and the heart of God so that when the time comes you will be able to discern right from wrong.
KEEP YOUR HANDS HOLY: Worship without wrath and without dissention. Make sure your life bears the fruit of the Spirit and especially of His love.
