Q1 What does the section say?
Haw returned to the maze to find a new cheese. Haw had a series of thoughts, and he had the correct thinking direction: it is better to be late than nothing. The only person who greeted him at station C was starvation and death. Only when he re-entered the maze would he have a chance of life. With this belief, he has overcome difficulties again and again. Eventually he realized that the cheese at Cheese Station C did not disappear within a day, but became smaller day by day. This kind of subtle change was the key to his neglect. Staying vigilant at all times and carefully observing subtle changes is what Haw has learned.
Q2What does the section mean for you?
Restarting is a process of falling and standing up again, a process of overcoming pain and facing bravely. When I was in my second year of high school, I was elected as the chairman of the student union of the school. Faced with the sudden and complicated work of students, it was difficult for me to balance the work and study of students. The drastic regression in the first test scores of the second year caused a serious blow to me. At that time, I was in a slump, but with the encouragement and comfort of my good friends, I knew that it would not be too late to start again. So I started to plan my time, make full use of fragmented time, and strive to improve the efficiency of learning. Great progress was made in an exam, and various school activities were held smoothly. I am grateful that I chose to start again, like Haw, and walked forward again with the determination to overcome fear.
With growing up, we will inevitably make wrong choices, but I will remember my sophomore year experience and Haw's experience of looking for cheese again, and learn to stand up and look for "new cheese".
