Georgia Reports 51 New Cases, 1 Death

51 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia, 1 person has died, and 95 people have recovered.

A total of 1,655,221 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia since February 2020, of which 1,637,293 have recovered and 16,811 have died.

The newly confirmed cases are divided by region as follows:

36 cases were identified in Tbilisi, Adjara – 5, Imereti – 3, Kvemo Kartli – 0, Shida Kartli – 2, Guria – 2, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 0, Kakheti – 2, Mtskheta-Mtianeti-0, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 1, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 0.

2,882,587 people have been fully vaccinated so far.

On May 1, 72 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Georgia, 161 patients recovered, and 3 died.
