经过国外分公司,还有中国办事处的团队几个月齐心不懈的努力,终于顺利的拿到了国外的一个工程订单,政府采购其中之一;
标书也拿到了,预算也拿到了,该向中国的供应商采购了;
由于订单相对比较大,所以国内可以生产的企业也就那么几家。集中在江浙一带。
订单虽然金额大概是一百多万美金,但是,几家询价下来,基本上价格已经很透明了,因为量比较大,所以每一间工厂,都会给到最好的价格,来尽量争取到这个订单;
当时我们在众多的供应商中初步的选择了一家,规模相对大,价格相对适中的,没有选最低价的工厂,样品也不错,业务经理和老板也很积极在配合,最后一步就是根据原材料敲定最终的采购合同订价了;
工厂根据数量大概算了一下包装和体积,整个订单工厂大概需要做八个月,初步算下来可能需要40多个HQ来装完;
我们也初步对这家的印象也是比较好的所以才约见面基;
由于地理位置的关系,工厂的老板和老板娘带了一位业务经理,一位船务经理,一个团队四人当天从浙江飞到广州来,和我们见面谈,诚意满满的;
老板和老板娘完全不会英文,最多只能hello, how are you, thank you, bye bye,业务经理一人会讲会写英文,船务经理不能开口讲,但是英文写邮件可以的;
当天下午见面的时候,交换完卡片之后,双方坐下来,首先我们 A先生开口:
First of all, its our great pleasure to meet you all here in Guangzhou, and thank you all for coming, after several hours flying, you must be very tired, we really appreciate your attitude toward us,hope we can succeed in this first order cooperation;
由于我们是甲方,所以我先翻译:首先,很高兴在广州见到各位,也感谢各位的光临,你们飞行了几个小时,一定很累了,我们真心感谢你们对我们的用心,希望首单能合作成功;
翻译完了:乙方工厂老板乐了,当然听到很开心,感觉我们重视他们,精神为之一振,马上也开始打起了官腔:
我们也很开心能和贵司见面,首先请允许我先简短的介绍一下我们企业,我司已在行业十五年,我本人是业务员出身,5年后自已单飞,经过15年的努力,现规模和质量都排在中国前五名,工厂现在有工人800多人,有12条生产线; 中国xx某国企是我们的常期客户; 希望这次拜访是双方互利关系的前奏;
他说完,看了一下业务经理,示意业务经理翻译,业务经理开口说了一句: let us get down to business,没了;
吖…….我们一下口子就傻了,气氛当场凝固起来了(最怕空气突然安静吖),工厂老板明显说了很多中文吖,这么多只被翻译也了一小句,工厂老板也一脸懵逼,我们这边也没法尬聊,我马上开启救场模式,将工厂老板的原话进行了翻译:

老板一看我们甲方的表情,知道翻译得很精确到位,又补充道 :
另外我们有二栋独立的仓库,足够存下贵司的货,而且都是室内的,不是室外的,能保证货物的完好保存;
我接着翻译:
in addition, they have two independent warehouses, enough to store our goods, and the warehouses are indoor not outdoor, can ensure the exhalant preservation of the goods;
工厂的老板越聊越high,政治也聊,宗教也聊,风俗习惯也聊,最后,大家确定了最终的价格,还有交期,双方都非常开心;
事后,工厂的老板单独给我一个红包,里面是3000元现金,我当时还是很fresh chicken呐,吓得心跳加速,脸红耳赤,完全不敢自己收,全数交给了A先生,A先生说这是你应得的,还是给了我,艾玛,心里美美哒,成就感饱饱哒;
从此在外贸谈判同声翻译这条路上越走越远;
