Who Moved My Cheese?

Who Moved My Cheese?

There are always books that open the door to our future from time to time, and this book has that effect on me.

Question 1: What does this section say?

The story begins with two mice and two dwarves searching for cheese in a maze, but the two sides take completely different approaches. The mice are action-oriented. They find their way by the smell of cheese, and they change direction when they hit a wall. After finding the big chess, they kept their running shoes around their necks in search of new cheese. On the other hand, two dwarves rely on their complex brains to develop more complex ways to find cheese. When they found cheese, they stopped looking, and even moved nearby to enjoy it.

Question 2: What does this section mean for you?

After the discovery of the cheese, the mice and the dwarves took very different measures. The mice realized that their happiness was short-lived, and they did not stop in their pursuit. They anticipate possible future changes and take action in advance. But the little men simply enjoyed their present happiness and did not foresee the possibility that the cheese might decay or disappear in the future. That set the stage for a different outcome.

Question 3: Give a story from your life.

When we first entered college, we were just out of the atmosphere of studying hard in high school. The living environment was better and the academic task was easier. We students could do many things we wanted to do. But let's take the long view, if I enjoy my life now, what competitive advantage will I have when I compete for jobs together after graduation. So, college for us is like that huge cheese, we cannot stay to enjoy, but should continue to enrich ourselves, continue to pursue a sense of urgency, so that we can make the right response when the environment is undergoing a drastic change.

My revelation

There is a proverb called "born in sorrow, die in happiness". No matter how good the environment looks and how comfortable we are, we all need to be aware of the dangers. Because one day, when we wake up, all of this could change, and our comfort zone could be gone in an instant, and that's not alarmist, that's largely true.
