Today is Sunday.
Papa, Caleb and I wrote letters to Sarah. I got my answer first. Sarah told me the answer of what I had asked her. She could do some housework and she also told me that she loved the sea and would enclose a book of sea birds for us. Caleb read the letter again and agin. He was very excited about the birds. When he received Sarah's answering letter for him, he got the answers that he had concerned, like how her cat was like, whether she could keep fire going at night, whether she snored. Sarah told him she loved our house even it was far from her house. Papa got Sarah's letter the last. Sarah told us she would come in a month if we wished her to see how it was. All of our answers were yes. Papa mailed a letter to Sarah. About a month later, Papa got a short letter from Sarah. She told us she would come by train, wearing a yellow bonnet. She was plain and tall. Caleb tried his best to peer the letter in Papa's hand and asked what there was at the bottom of the letter. Papa read it to us, "Tell them I sing."
