Along the way, Haw was looking for new cheese hungrily and fearfully. Though disturbed by the disappointing emptiness of each section, overwhelmed by the fear that there would be no more cheese and grased by the thoughts that going back to Hew would not be lonely, he eventually got rid of these present annoyance, which means he decided bravely to forge ahead and it’s exactly when he was moving along that he had felt his best.
Q2 How is the section related to your life/ personal experience?
Keep calm and carry on.
Most of the time, I am not determined, though having seen plenty of chicken soup. However, at some particular moment when I just experienced once and have the time to think, I would be awoken. That’s it, keep calm and carry on, which, I think could perfectly match the meaning of the chapter.
I remembered just months ago during a quarantine. With plenty of time available, things just happened that you were easier to let your imagination run away. Instead of finishing everything in order, I just trapped into the situation, so that every task was completed nervously and at low efficiency. Honestly I’ve spent lots of time wondering my mind, that’s how aimless life shaped me. Just like Haw, nowadays I am on my way now, not sure where to go. But in the progress I have felt my best.
