Removing Mendeley field codes

1. Click 'Export' in the Mendeley Citation plugin toolbar. By selecting this option, Mendeley will:

3. Convert the entire document to plain text.
4. No longer automatically update your bibliography to include new references, so make sure you're totally happy with your references before undertaking this step.

Removing EndNote field codes

1. Open your finished and formatted Word document.
