韶光催人老，两鬓皆已霜，
终日难睡醒，围炉即昏茫，
诚请开此卷，徐徐诵诗行。
呓梦昔年时，秋水溢柔光，
星眸波影深，迷醉众轻狂。
慕君姣容颜，意浅抑情长？
唯我解文君，香魂绕愁肠。
容颜或可改，风霜刻面庞，
火暖炉边柵，躬弯不复长。
思此怨且叹：爱情今何往？
仿佛见其影，踯躅在山岗，
仿佛见其面，掩映星之芒。

When you are old
and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by
the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read,
and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had
once, and of their shadows deep;
How many loved
your moments of glad grace,
And loved your
beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved
the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the
sorrows of your changing face;
And bending down
beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little
sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon
the mountains overhead
And hid his face
amid a crowd of stars.
