I think that online learning has both advantages and disadvantages, so let me share my opinion.
The benefits of online learning are many. First of all, online learing have rich learning resources. In the era of network resource sharing, whether it is free or paid courses, you can always find the knowledge that meets your needs. Second, instructional videos or text can be watched repeatedly until you fully learned these knowledge. You can control the learning progress and review it multiple times.
At the same time, due to the characteristics of the Internet, online learning also brings many disadvantages. On the one hand, the Internet is full of temptations, using the shortcomings of human nature to lure you into a short period of low-level happiness. When designing the Internet, you use the weaknesses of human nature to set a lot of traps that fascinate you. When you are studying, you may be distracted by a pushed message, then you may will start surfing and forget to keep learing. Therefore studying online requires your strong attention. On the other hand, the teacher cannot adjust the difficulty of the lesson based on your sturding performance. In the online courses, teachers can not grasp the students' actual learning feedback situation, so whether you can learn more depends on your own learning ability, the teacher can not give you much help.
I will share four tips I learned while studying online.
First, learn at any time. Lateness(迟到) in offline classes is not allowed, but online classes will not wake you up. You can turn on your electronic device at any time to start learning. Using your study time flexibly, you can make your own personalized(个性化) study plan.
Second, learn to efficiently search for information. Learn to use search engines for effective keyword searches. Also pay attention to some single-page applications, they cannot be well collected by search engines. You need to search the corresponding(相应) website separately(分别) for the information you want.
Third, multi-dimensional learning. After you learn to collect information, you need to screen (filter) the learning resources you have collected, choose the resources which are most suitable for you, when learning difficult knowledge you can compare the descriptions of multiple learning resources to form deeper and better understanding.
Fourth, take quick notes. When taking notes, you can also use information technology to speed up your recording(记录) process. I recommend use Word document or Xmind mind map. In order to save time, use the screenshot tool and text copy tool to quickly mark the knowledge. Don't waste too much time on writing notes. After writing the notes, remember to name the note document in a targeted way for future search and review.
