North Korea has offered to shut nuclear test sites in May and promised to invite American weapon experts to verify its closure. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un claimed that Pyongyang would have no need for nuclear weapons if the place won’t be invaded anymore. The president of South Korea, Moon Jae-in also agreed with Kim and both of them had built trust with each other, as well as denuclearization. The two leaders pledge together to formally end the Korean War and had signed a peace treaty.

Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos sent an email to his employees about a customer complaint with a single character “?”. He indicated that the question mark is a shorthand for “Why should this be happening?”. Bezos stated that he has a public Amazon account for everyone in order to hear from his consumers, in which he only forward and not reply. He is a “big fan of anecdotes in business” and is “famously customer-obsessed”. The amazon boss says that his customer’s complaints and problems help his company to improve and innovate rapidly.

Earth’s biggest volcano, Tamu Masssif, is found 2 kilometers below the surface of the Pacific Ocean. Volcano scientists assumed that it consisted of several volcanoes squished together, and resembles and overturned mega-bowl, covering about 30,000 square kilometers. Scientists have to travel for two weeks to go there and plunge the monitoring equipment underwater, which found out that the volcano covers a territory bigger than Massachusetts, and emerged at the edge of two tectonic plates. Scientists think that Tamu Massif was plausibly an island at one time, and some new data also suggest this “lava king may have risen close to the sea surface (but never all the way)”.

Even though there are distinct differences between Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, the three religion actually worship in the same God. Muhammad, the founder of Islam saw himself as a prophet who can reach back through Jesus to Moses, which he also inherited the Jewish and Christian understanding of God. The Jewish God was revealed in the Torah that he had acted like a soldier on the evil side, but also is compassionate and loving, as shown in the words of Psalm 23. The God of Jesus also had a similarly ambiguous character, who preached “doom and gloom”, while of tenderness and love. The three Gods all have a complex character with two opposite sides, good and bad. However, Muslims, Christians, and Jews still quarrel today even they do all worship in the same sophisticated God.
