Launcher是一个Android应用,它的界面就是我们看到的手机桌面,点击桌面的应用图标可以打开应用。Launcher项目中有个类Launcher继承于Activity,通过查看源码,我们可以得知,点击应用图标触发的点击事件中执行了startActivitySafely()
这个方法,我们的分析就从这个方法开始。

当mParent
不为空时,是指有TabActivity
、GroupActivity
等嵌套关系的情况,但是不管mParent
是否为空,最终都会调用mInstrumentation.execStartActivity()
。值得特别注意的是mMainThread
指的是Launcher应用的主线程(ActivityThread
),那么mMainThread.getApplicationThread()
获取的就是Launcher的应用线程ApplicationThread
。

通过上面的交待,很容易得知whoThread
就是Launcher的应用线程ApplicationThread
,接下来又通过ActivityManagerNative
来启动Activity。事实上ActivityManagerNative.getDefault()
返回的是ActivityManagerService
的一个代理类,通过Binder
的多进程通信,告诉ActivityManagerService
启动一个Activity。然后checkStartActivityResult()
会检查启动的结果,如果不成功,会直接抛出错误。下面我们继续来看ActivityManagerService
具体是如何启动Activity的。

方法,这个方法接下来的调用过程比较复杂,暂时不具体分析,它和ActivityStack、ActivityStackSupervisor调过来调过去,最终调到了ActivityStackSupervisor的startSpecificActivityLocked()

由于是第一次启动应用的Activity,应用的进程是不存在在,所以app

就是ActivityManagerService

方法就是一个应用的入口函数。

是一个Binder
对象,用来进行进程间通信的。

上面的码步骤较长,实现通过java.lang.ClassLoader cl = r.packageInfo.getClassLoader()
,获取到了ClassLoader
,然后通过activity = mInstrumentation.newActivity(cl, component.getClassName(), r.intent)
创建出了Activity
的实例。Activity创建好以后,会调用Application app = r.packageInfo.makeApplication(false, mInstrumentation)
创建Application
的实例,但不会重复建,下面会说明。接着又创建出Activity
的appContext
,然后调用

是应用程序较早被系统调用到的方法。
还有一个结论就是Application
肯定是被系统的ClassLoader
加载的。
