Imagine there is a chance to ask questions and get answered by the Wise. What would you ask? I find this is an intriguing game that we can play by ourselves, enjoying our imagination and inspiring ideas.
For me, there is a long list of eternal questions.
I always want to know what is the soul of a person, and is there a soul for everyone? I have my inner self, having my own principles and willpower, but I don't know if I have a soul, a popular concept so strange to me. When people say someone has a good or evil soul, I am not very sure what do they want to say. If they want to say someone is a good person doing moral things, just say so. But what is a good or evil soul?
I am a believer of no religion, but I'm fascinated by all of them. I want to figure out how to understand the resurrection of Jesus Chris. I am not making a joke, I do hope I could feel the justification here, even as a pagan.
Is there a world after death? Are Heaven and Hell true? Is the next world just a great story conjured by human ancestors, or there is some truth in it?
Art is long, life is short. What should I learn? I am curious about so many things, the law, the morality, the rhetoric, the mind, the body, the public, and the universe, just to name a few.
I want to know how to handle the fear and anxiety about future uncertainties. I play strong when I suffer from such negative feelings, but sometimes such an approach does not work. Those terrible moments consume me deadly.
What is a worthy life? It would be the most terrible thing when one who is dying regrets his life is wasted. I believe it is blessed to be born, grow up, and preferably live a full circle of life. But it deserves to ask what a valuable life is and how to live it.
The list can go on and on. I think some questions are pertaining to philosophy, but some are simply personal choices. Mostly, there is no right or wrong for philosophies or choices. The key point, if any, is to be well informed, which means to keep curious and be open to new ideas.
