In many countries,more and more people buy a wider range of household goods like television,microwave oven and rice cooker.Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

It is suggested that every household has at least one television ,one microwave  oven .And the rice cooker is also becoming a necessity in the kitchen . People believe that these advanced technology is the prerequisite of their well-off life.Otherwise ,as far as I am concerned , these tendency will bring us more potential problems ,compared with the positive impacts.

Truly , popular consumer  goods provides humans a more convenient and enjoyable life ,which is unparalleled  .TV gives viewers access to a wide variety of information and entertainment,while microwave oven and rice cooker help people to eat hot  and fresh food even in just a few minutes. This is why universal ownership of household goods is often associated with  a high standard of living .

On the other hand ,the possible risks of this trend should not be underestimated, among which ,I would say,is ---healthy danger.It has been  proved in lots of experiments that long time of exposure of television is the chief culprit of  the rising number of short-sighted people ,mostly teenagers. The other two domestic appliances ,microwave oven and rice cooker ,are also closely related to lots of electric accidents .What's more, we cannot deny the fact that the appearance of these advanced technological products do make humans not creative as they used to be .

Therefore, although these applicances enable individuals to enjoy a more colorful and convenient life, with no reasonable self-disipline and correct instruction of using ,the detriments they carry will be huge and unimaginable.
