His success tries to prove that he didn't give a fuck about success, and just tried to be himself.People always think that self-improvment and success often occur together, but that doesn't necessarily mean their the same thing.

️ 2.What’s wrong with the conventional life advice, which is fixating on what you lack?

It always emphasizes something that you perceive your personal shortcoming and failures.

️ 3.Can you use your own words explaining what the Feedback Loop from Hell is?

恶性循环。越想越糟糕,越变越急躁,然后迷失自我。

Part2 感悟

What is wrong with me?

最近也不断的再问自己what is wrong with me?为什么读个研究生,让我觉得这么痛苦。然而还是在不断的给自己打鸡血,熬过这段日子,就好了。可事实却不是这样。记得刚上研究生时满怀期待,期待自己在第一年的时候就可以发文章,期待自己可以轻松的毕业。然而,一年半了,实验还是有很多的问题,从刚开始的信心满满到现在想放弃,甚至想过要退学。Charles Bukowski的例子也让我有所反思,我有真正的面对过自己吗?我有想试着去接受目前这样不符合期待的自己吗?我没有。我仍是骄傲的,骄傲的不认识自己。用各样的方式来填满那颗忧虑不安的心。想到圣经里有句话:我们有这宝贝放在瓦器里,要显明这莫大的能力是出于神,不是出于我们。 我们四面受敌,却不被困住;心里作难,却不至失望;  (哥林多后书 4:7-8 和合本)。

1.adversity: a difficult or unpleasant situation困境

【原文】To not give a fuck about adversity, you must first give a fuck about more important than adversity.

2.warts and all:including all the bad or unpleastant features of sb. /sth.

【原文】We accept it, warts and all.

【仿写】My mom loves me, warts and all.

3.indignant:feeling or showing anger and surprise because you think that you have been treated unfairly愤怒的

【原文】But instead, I was indignant.

【仿写】He was indignant at the way she had been treated.
