In my opinion, the person I admired most is definitely the one who saved China once and led us to a modern and prosperous future whose name is well-known as Deng Xiaoping. He is considered as the core of the second generation of leader groups of China's Communist Party.
The most impressive character of Deng is his resilience and fortitude against struggles and disasters.During the well-known tens years of the Cultural Revolution, Deng was forced to step down from power for 3 times while many of his friends and colleagues and relatives were injured, detained or even died. Although facing many difficulties and frustrations, Deng never yielded to his fate and he just waited patiently for his own time.
Finally in 1976, shortly after the death of Mao, Deng returned to Beijing and the central government to re-own his political power again. He did a lot of work to lead China to recover from the damage caused by the Cultural Revolution and pointed a new direction for China which is well known as Opening and Reforming policy.This great policy was like a great beacon light of hope to millions of Chinese people and has been working until now for over 40 years shaping China as one of the most powerful Countries like America in the world now.
I think everyone in China now should admire and thank Deng for his resilience,fortitude and wisdom which made China great again. His energy , his faith and his devotion to this course should not be forgotten forever in the long history of China.
