I had a letter from my sister yesterday.

She lives in Nigeria.

In her letter,

she said that she would come to England next year.

If she comes,

she will get a surprise.

We are now living in a beautiful new house in the country.

Work on it had begun before my sister left.

The house was completed five months ago.

In my letter,

I told her that she could stay with us.

The house has many large rooms and there is a lovely garden.

It is a very modern house,

so it looks strange to some people.

It must be the only modern house in the district.

练习感悟：晚间在小群录音朗读，一遍就过，还不错。今天的课文饶舌的单词不多，读起来比较顺畅。现在每天的朗读内容是：一大早起来朗读，在打卡群里发第一遍朗读课文；到晚间在微信小群里再打卡发一遍当天的内容，同样注意是雕琢每一遍内容；到了最后，再最后发一遍朗读课文到自己的微信里，算是每天自己发给自己的朗读内容。因此，每一天的课文，我是得发三遍到不同的地方。这其中读了多少遍，得看当天课文的难易程度及自己的掌握程度。还是那句话，先练语感，下个月开始加点量。
