Which animal do you think is "the king of the animals",the elephant,the lion or the tiger?I think the tiger is "the king of the animals",because you can find some black lines on the tiger's forehead.The lines look like the Chinese word"Wang".It's one of the symbols of the king in Chinese.
Tigers are dangerous animals.They like eating meat.They have yellow and beautiful fur with black lines.Tigers can run very fast.People like watching them in the zoo,but they usually feel scared when tigers walk to them.
Most people think tigers are dangerous,but they don't know tigers are in danger now.People cut down many trees,so tigers are losing their homes.There are only about 70 Siberian tigers in China.Lots of people want to kill them for their fur.We must save tigers and not buy things made of their fur.They really need our help.
I'm Julie,a middle school student.I'm sixteen years old.I like all kinds ofanimals,such as pandas,giraffes,and elephants.So I find a part-time job in the city zoo in my free time.The zoo is not far.It is only about 2 kilometres from my home.So I often ride a bike to work.After I get to the zoo,I start to do my work,like cleaning the animals' cages and making food for them.
At weekends,more people come to the zoo to watch animals than on weekdays.So sometimes I am a little busy.And I need to tell them what they can do and what they can't do.There are also some strict rules that they need to follow in the zoo.I like my work because I can play with those lovely animals.
Of all the animals in the zoo,I like the cute koala best,although it is kind of lazy .It can sleep for about 20 hours a day.This kind of animal comes from Australia.It is one of the symbols of Australia,but I don't think it is a good idea for animals to live in the cages.They are from nature.So I think they will be happy and free if they can live in nature.Do you agree with me?
