I’ve been making programs about an American comedy lately. It’s called “ Modern Family”, a really popular comedy in America and all over the world.

You can tell from the name that this show is all about a family, maybe a special one. Well, the big modern family contain three different small families which are related. An age-gap and inter-cultural relationship in a step family(we’ll just call it A family in the rest of the article), a gay family(B family), and a normal family with three totally different kids(C family). Is that complicated to you? I think we figure out why this comedy called Modern Family.

So, let’s get this through. There are three people in A family, Jay, Gloria and Manny. Manny is Gloria’s son with another man, so Manny is Jay’s step son. Mitchell and Cam, the gay family just adopted a baby girl called Lily from Vietnam. And come to the C family, which seems like the a little bit normal one compare to the former two. There are Phil and Claire, the husband and wife, and Haley, Alex and Luke. And we are not getting to the funniest part yet. Jay happen to be the father of Mitchell and Claire. So that’s why three different families are technically one big family.

Now you know we have 11 roles in this TV series if you do the right math. I have to praise the screenwriter for making every role alive with their specific characters.

This series are full of laughing points and also touching moments. It can make you laugh and also make you think. It can be an entertainment and also be a study materials, for life.
