Wanda Hazel Gág /ˈɡɑːɡ/ (March 11, 1893–June 27, 1946) was an American artist, author, translator, and illustrator. She is best known for writing and illustrating the children's book Millions of Cats, the oldest American picture book still in print.

Wanda's art is black and white drawings. I'm sure color was extremely expensive back then and used scarcely. The pictures are quant and I like the font the story is told in.

I loved reading it aloud. I loved the pictures and the food, the deep cave that serves as a house, the nonsense words "jum-jills" and "aminal," the vanity of the Funny Thing. Indeed he was very pretty, such a tail and eyelashes!

The artwork is small little pictures on the sides of the page. It is the Wanda Gag style.
Very humorous and amusing. I loved this book!
