消除贫穷国际日（俗称世界消除贫困日）为每年 10 月 17 日。活动起源于 1987 年巴黎的集会，人们呼吁：贫困是对人权的侵犯。
1992 年联合国正式设立这个纪念日。
设立目的是提醒全世界关注全球贫困问题，呼吁各国携手缩小贫富差距。消除贫困是联合国 2030 可持续发展目标的首要任务。每个人都可以用微小行动传递善意，共建公平有尊严的世界。
International Day for the Eradication of Poverty falls on October 17 every year. Its origin dates back to a gathering in Paris in 1987, where people stated that poverty is a violation of human rights. The UN officially established this day in 1992.
It aims to raise global attention to poverty and calls on all countries to work together to narrow the wealth gap. Ending poverty stands as Goal 1 of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. With small acts of kindness, everyone can help build a fair world with dignity for all.
