20180119-20  Chapter 3 You Are not Special

-Q & A-

1. What does “entitlement” mean? Can you give an example to explain it?

"Entitlement" means a state where people feel they have the official right to have or do something, and in this book sometimes means people think they deserve something better or more than others. For examble, one may think he or she can get what they want without strugglig for it.

2. What’s the point of telling Jimmy’s story?

The author told us the story of Jimmy to show us the danger of being entilted.

3. Do you think you are special? What’s wrong with feeling you are sepcial?

To be honest, I often thought I was special. Feeling special imparts an urge to be great to me, which makes me feel stressful and self-centerned sometimes.

4. If you are not special, how can we achieve greatness?

By getting rid of the stress of being perfect and special to live a life we really want and dedicate ourselves to what really matters in our life, we can achieve greatness even when we are not special.

-Take-away Message-
