今天我的一位朋友带我参观她的学校——麦吉尔大学，这可以说是一次打开我梦想之门的旅行。
麦吉尔大学素有“加拿大的哈佛”之美誉，也是蒙特利尔的最高学府。这所大学曾培养出了许多诺贝尔奖获得者、国家元首和总理；在中国家喻户晓的白求恩大夫也出自这里。但令我意外的是，麦吉尔大学没有任何华丽的外表，大门上甚至连McGill的字样都没有。这让我想起了著名诗人雪莱的名句：“浅水喧哗，深水无声”，这种身为世界名校却不露锋芒的低调品质让我肃然起敬。
校园虽不豪华，但很有学术气息：古色古香的教学楼、规模庞大的图书馆、包罗万象的博物馆都深深地吸引着我。校园里偶尔还传来浑厚而嘹亮的钟声，为知识的天堂增添了几分神圣的色彩。在这里我能感受到浓厚的学习氛围和它独特的文化内涵，这些风格多样、情调迥异的书籍和展品本身就是对学生最好的教育和熏陶。
学校依山而建，校园的环境像一个大公园。走进校门，映入眼帘的是一片宽敞的草坪，放眼望去可以看到高耸的山峰，绿树间点缀的几朵鲜花让空气中弥漫着淡淡的清香。素雅的教学楼与秀美的自然风光相得益彰，尤其是坐落在其背后雄伟的山峰，让美丽的校园更有磅礴的气势。整个校园宛若一位集智慧与美貌于一身的优秀学者。
我从前虽然也知道麦吉尔大学是名校，但是今天亲自来参观的时候，才更深刻地感受到了它的力量。我梦想着有一天我也能成为这里的学生。
当夕阳的余晖洒在校园里，我仿佛听到了自己儿时稚嫩的声音，想起当时信誓旦旦地说出“要成为一名教育家”的梦想。这次名校之旅又让我重拾当年的斗志，满怀希望地向前走……
今天我以游客的身份参观麦吉尔大学，希望以后能以学生的身份在这里学习。正如这所大学的校训所言：“Grandescunt Aucta Labore（天道酬勤）”，相信在我的不断努力之下，未来的某一天这个校园里一定会留下我的身影！加油！
Today a friend of mine took me on a tour of her school, McGill University. It was absolutely a inspiring and stimulatory trip.
Being honored as the "Harvard in Canada", McGill is the best as well as the most famous university in Montreal. The university has produced a number of Nobel laureates, heads of state and prime ministers; Dr. Bethune, who is well known in my home country, also graduated from here. But to my surprise, the appearance of McGill University is not very gorgeous, and there is not even the word McGill on the gate. This reminds me of a well-known sentence of the famous poet, Shelley: "shallow water is roaring, deep water is silent." Despite its status as a world-famous university, it is not ostentatious at all. This quality of being low-key filled me with deep esteem.
The campus is not magnificent, but there is a strong academic atmosphere: the antique teaching buildings, the large-scale library and the all-inclusive museum all have a strong attraction for me. Sometimes the sonorous bell rings throughout the campus, which makes the paradise of knowledge more solemn and sacred. I was deeply inspired by the strong academic atmosphere and its rich cultural content; the books and exhibits of various styles are great edification for its students.
The university is built against a mountain and the campus is like a big park. Walking into the school gate, what comes into your sight is a wide lawn, and in the distance are the towering peaks. A few flowers intersperse among the green trees fill the air with a faint fragrance. The elegant buildings blend well with the fascinating natural scenery, and the majestic peaks locate behind it add magnificent momentum to the beautiful campus. The university is like a great scholar with brains and beauty in one.
I used to know McGill was a great university, but when I visited it in person, I was affected by its power even more profoundly. I dream that one day I can be a student of this school.
Roaming around the campus, I thought of the scene that when I was a little kid, I vowed solemnly with a cute voice that "I'm going to be a great educator." The trip to the world-famous university has made me regain my enthusiasm and move forward hopefully...
Today I am visiting McGill University as a tourist, hoping that I can study here as a student in the future. As the motto of this university says: "Grandescunt Aucta Labore (By work, all things increase and grow), " I believe that I will become a member of McGill in the future provided I make unremitting efforts! Aujourd'hui, une de mes amis m'a fait visiter son école, l'Université McGill. C’était absolument un voyage inspirant et stimulant.
Honorée comme "Harvard au Canada", McGill est la meilleure et la plus célèbre université à Montréal. L'université a produit un certain nombre de lauréats du prix Nobel, de chefs d'État et de premiers ministres; Le Dr Bethune, qui est bien connu dans mon pays natal, est également diplômé d'ici. Mais à ma grande surprise, l'apparence de l'Université McGill n'est pas très magnifique, et il n'y a même pas le mot « McGill » sur la porte. Cela me rappelle une phrase bien connue du célèbre poète Shelley : "l'eau peu profonde est bruyant, l'eau profonde est silencieuse". Malgré son statut d'université de renommée mondiale, elle n'est pas du tout ostentatoire. Cette qualité d'être discret me remplissait d'une profonde estime.
Le campus n'est pas magnifique, mais il y règne une forte atmosphère académique : les anciens bâtiments d'enseignement, la grande bibliothèque et le musée tout compris m'attirent fortement. Parfois, la cloche sonore retentit dans tout le campus, ce qui rend le paradis de la connaissance plus solennel et sacré. J'ai été profondément inspiré par la forte atmosphère académique et son riche contenu culturel ; les livres et les expositions de styles variés sont une grande édification pour ses étudiants.
L'université est construite contre une montagne et le campus ressemble à un grand parc. En entrant dans la porte de l'école, ce qui apparaît à votre vue est une large pelouse, et au loin se trouvent les sommets imposants. Quelques fleurs intercalées parmi les arbres verts remplissent l'air d'un léger parfum. Les bâtiments élégants se marient bien avec le paysage naturel fascinant, et les sommets majestueux situés derrière lui ajoutent un élan magnifique au bel campus. L'université est comme un grand érudit avec à la fois intelligence et beauté.
Je savais que McGill était une grande université, mais lorsque je l'ai visitée en personne, j'ai été encore plus profondément touchée par sa puissance. Je rêve qu'un jour je pourrai être élève de cette école.
En errant sur le campus, j'ai pensé à la scène où, quand j'étais petit, j'ai juré solennellement avec une jeune voix que "je vais être un grand éducateur". Le voyage à l'université de renommée mondiale m'a fait retrouver mon enthousiasme et aller de l'avant avec espoir...
Aujourd'hui, je visite l'Université McGill en tant que touriste, dans l'espoir de pouvoir étudier ici en tant qu'étudiant à l'avenir. Comme le dit la devise de cette université : « Grandescunt Aucta Labore »(Par le travail, tout s'accroît et grandit), je crois que je deviendrai membre de McGill dans le futur à condition de faire des efforts inlassables !
