今天我的一位朋友带我参观她的学校——麦吉尔大学，这可以说是一次打开我梦想之门的旅行。
麦吉尔大学素有“加拿大的哈佛”之美誉，也是蒙特利尔的最高学府。这所大学曾培养出了许多诺贝尔奖获得者、国家元首和总理。但令我意外的是，麦吉尔大学根本没有华丽的外表，大门上甚至连McGill的字样都没有。这让我想起了著名诗人雪莱的名句：“浅水喧哗，深水无声”，这种身为世界名校却不露锋芒的低调品质让我肃然起敬。
校园虽不豪华，但很有学术气息：古色古香的教学楼、规模庞大的图书馆、包罗万象的博物馆都深深地吸引着我。有时一阵嘹亮的钟声响彻校园，让知识的天堂更加庄严神圣。在这里我能感受到浓厚的学习氛围和它独特的文化内涵，这些风格多样、情调迥异的书籍和展品本身就是对学生最好的熏陶。
学校依山而建，校园就像一个大公园。走进校门，映入眼帘的是一片宽敞的草坪，放眼望去可以看到高耸的山峰，绿树间点缀的几朵鲜花让空气中弥漫着淡淡的清香。素雅的教学楼与秀美的自然风光相得益彰，尤其是坐落在其背后雄伟的山峰，让美丽的校园更有气势。整个校园宛若一位集智慧与美貌于一身的优秀学者。
我从前虽然也知道麦吉尔大学是名校，但是今天亲自来参观的时候，才更深刻地感受到了它的力量。我梦想着有一天我也能成为这里的学生。
当夕阳的余晖洒在校园里，我仿佛听到了自己儿时稚嫩的声音，想起当时信誓旦旦地说出“要成为一名教育家”的梦想。这次名校之旅又让我重拾当年的斗志，满怀希望地向前走……
今天我以游客的身份参观麦吉尔大学，希望以后能以学生的身份在这里学习。正如这所大学的校训所言：“Grandescunt Aucta Labore（天道酬勤）”，相信在我的不断努力之下，未来的某一天这个校园里一定会留下我的身影！加油！
Today a friend of mine took me on a tour of her school, McGill University. It was absolutely an inspiring and stimulatory trip.
Honored as the "Harvard in Canada," McGill is the best as well as the most famous university in Montreal. The university has produced a number of Nobel laureates, heads of state and prime ministers, but to my surprise, the appearance of McGill University is not very gorgeous, and there is not even the word “McGill” on the gate. This reminds me of a well-known quote by Shelley, a famous British poet, "shallow water is roaring, deep water is silent." Despite its status as a world-famous university, it is not ostentatious at all. The low-key profile filled me with deep esteem.
The campus is not magnificent, but there is a strong academic atmosphere — the antique teaching buildings, the large-scaled library and the all-inclusive museum all remain a magnet for me. Sometimes a peal of bells ring throughout the campus and makes the paradise of knowledge more solemn and sacred. The university has books and exhibits of various styles, which are good edification for its students, and the rich cultural content inspired me greatly.
The university is built against a mountain and the campus is like a big park. Going through the school gate, what comes into your sight is a wide lawn, and in the distance are the towering peaks. A few flowers intersperse among the green trees fill the air with a faint fragrance. The elegant buildings blend well with the fascinating natural scenery, and the majestic peaks locate behind makes the campus stately and awe-inspiring. The university is like a great scholar with brains and beauty in one.
I used to know McGill was a great university, but when I stepped onto the campus, I was influenced by its power even more profoundly. I dream that one day I can be a student of this school.
Roaming in the picturesque campus, I was reminded of a time when I was a little kid, someone asked me about my dream and I vowed solemnly with a cute voice that "I'm going to be a qualified professor." The trip to the world-famous university has made me regain my enthusiasm and strive for the future with hope and confidence...
Today I am visiting McGill University as a tourist, hoping that one day I can study here as a student. As the motto of this university says: "Grandescunt Aucta Labore (By work, all things increase and grow), " I believe that I will become a member of McGill in the future provided I make unremitting efforts!

Aujourd’hui, un de mes amies m’a fait visiter son école, l’Université McGill. C’était un voyage absolument inspirant et stimulant.
Honorée comme la « Harvard au Canada », McGill est la meilleure et la plus célèbre université à Montréal. L’université a produit un certain nombre de lauréats du prix Nobel, de chefs d’État et de premiers ministres, mais à ma grande surprise, l’apparence de l’Université McGill n’est pas très luxueux, et il n’y a même pas le mot « McGill » sur la porte. Cela me rappelle une citation bien connue de Shelley, un célèbre poète britannique : « L’eau peu profonde est bruyante, l’eau profonde est silencieuse ». Malgré son statut d’université de renommée mondiale, elle n’est pas du tout ostentatoire. Le profil discret m’a rempli d’une profonde estime.
Le campus n’est pas magnifique, mais il y règne une forte atmosphère académique – les anciens bâtiments, la bibliothèque à grande échelle et le musée tout compris restent tous un aimant pour moi. Parfois, un carillon de cloches sonne dans tout le campus et rend le paradis de la connaissance plus solennel et plus sacré. L’université a des livres et des expositions variés, qui sont une bonne édification pour ses étudiants, et le riche contenu culturel m’a beaucoup inspiré.
L’université est construite contre une montagne et le campus est comme un grand parc. En franchissant la porte de l’école, vous voyez une large pelouse et, au loin, des sommets vertigineux. Quelques fleurs s’intercalent parmi les arbres verts et remplissent l’air d’un léger parfum. Les bâtiments élégants se marient bien avec le paysage naturel fascinant, et les sommets majestueux situés derrière rendent le campus majestueux et impressionnant. L’université est comme un grand érudit avec de l’intelligence et de la beauté à la fois.
Je savais que McGill était une université connue, mais lorsque j’ai mis les pieds sur le campus, j’ai été encore plus profondément influencé par sa puissance. Je rêve qu’un jour je puisse être étudiant de cette université.
En me promenant sur le campus pittoresque, je me suis souvenu d’une époque où j’étais petit, quelqu’un m’a demandé quel était mon rêve et j’ai juré solennellement d’une voix mignonne que « je vais être un professeur qualifié ». Le voyage à l’université de renommée mondiale m’a fait retrouver mon enthousiasme et me battre pour l’avenir avec espoir et confiance...
Aujourd’hui, je visite l’Université McGill en tant que touriste, dans l’espoir de pouvoir un jour étudier ici en tant qu’étudiant. Comme le dit la devise de cette université : « Grandescunt Aucta Labore » (Par le travail, toutes choses augmentent et grandissent), Je crois que je deviendrai membre de McGill à l’avenir à condition de faire des efforts inlassables !
