The relationship between loneliness and wisdom

Nowadays, people are haunted blonelinessn theirday-to-day life, bothered, to say the least. Towards this issue, a study has been conducted and the 75% of the participants reported a certain degree of loneliness. Moreover, it is said that loneliness is inversely related to people' s wisdom. To be exact, the wiser people are, the less they are to perceive loneliness.

The conclusions of this very study echoes with my daily experiences and my own understanding. To me, highly intelligent people are less likely to feel lonely in that they constantly immerse themselves in their self-improvement, academic pursuits, etc. And the accomplishments themselves are satisfying enough for the sole spirit, and they need no external accompany to achieve spiritual resonance. Another point that must be put forward is that though loneliness is an atural part of human emotions and people, however wise, are entitled to feel loneliness once in a while. But that is the moment when true difference starts to show. Wise men master the power to handle their emotional fluctuations. They are fully aware of the situation and would take the initiative to divert their focus. They heal through learning new skills and seeking relaxation. For instance, Sheldon Cooper, the so-called lab nerd in TV series Big Bang Theory would play with model trains to soothe his anxiety.

To sum up, there is a negative correlation between wisdom and loneliness. Wise people rarely feel lonely and would bail themselves out of the emotional dilemma. They might be fighting alone, but they never feel lonely.
