  1. Dowloads the open-source versions
  2. install qt
     • sudo zypper install -t pattern devel_basis
     • chmod +x qt-opensource-linux-x64-5.3.2.run | ./qt-opensource-linux-x64-5.3.2.run
  3. Qt installers to download and install the following components:
     • Qt libraries
     • Qt Creator integrated development environment (IDE)
     • Add-On components that are relevant for different platforms
  4. Use the Maintenance Tool under <qtdir> to add, update, or remove installed components
