This chart shows information about how oil production capacity changed from 1990 to 2010 in six different countries of Middle East. We can clearly see that except for Qatar every oil-producing country saw a rise in their daily production capacity during the 20-year period.

It is noticeable that the quantity of oil produced per day in Saudi Arabia remained substantially larger throughout the period in question, growing from 8.5 million barrels in 1990 to 14.5 million in 2010. By contrast, the quality of oil produced in Qatar was constantly the smallest, with the figure staying below 0.5 million barrels per day in all the four years.

We can see from the chart that the other four countries,  namely Iran, Iran, Kuwait and the UAE, witnessed a similar moderate increase in their oil production capacity. In 1990, figures for their oil production averaged at about 2 million barrels, and after an increase of approximately 2 million barrels the four countries had a capacity of producing four million barrels per day in 2010.

Overall,  a noticeable increasing trend can be seen from most countries listed in terms of their ability to produce oil on a daily basis.
