2. 体会这个词 （进阶篇）

“godsend”字面的意思是“上帝派来的”，也就是我们常说的“天赐之物”，常常用来表示非常有帮助的人或物，在有些语境中有“雪中送炭” “及时雨”的意思。

当我们想说一个人或物非常有帮助时，除了想到可以用“very helpful”，还可以试试用“godsend”。比如我们可以用它来夸人：
