Should children be sent overseas at a young age?

孩子应该在年轻时被送到海外吗？我持否定的态度，原因有以下4点

1. 国内的教育并不比国外差

我承认国外的教育可以让孩子们参加更多的实践活动，让孩子们眼界更开阔，思维也更加的活跃，可是国内的初中高中真的没有国外好吗？国内的基础教育是全球第一，基础教育培养孩子对事物的判断以及对祖国的认知感有很重要的作用，如果过早的去国外读书，可能会导致舍本求末的结局

1.The level of education in china is not worse than that in foreign countries.

   I admit that foreign education can help children participate in more practical activities, broaden their horizons, and make their thinking more active. But is it true that domestic schools are not as good as foreign schools? As we all know China's basic education is the first in the world. Basic education plays an important role in cultivating children's sense of judgment and understanding of the motherland.If children go abroad to study too early, it may have the order reversed.

2. 远离亲人亲情疏远，容易产生心理问题

留学低龄化的趋势导致父母与孩子过早的分离，孩子的健康成长离不开家长的教育和影响，而且孩子年龄越小，父母的影响则越发重要，父母是孩子人生的第一老师，教会孩子礼貌，人生态度以及价值观等，过早的独自去国外留学，在家长的监督之外，没法感受到孩子的心里变化，很容易产生一些心理问题，会影响其个人的健康发展。

随着收入的增加越来越多的家长愿意把自己的孩子送出国，也没有考虑孩子自己的意愿，一心想着“外国的月亮比较圆”，随着大流就把孩子盲目的送出国，另外， 据调查，留学生的回国率只有三成，为什么他们不愿意回国呢？我想不仅因为国外的月亮圆，更多的是因为他们从小去国外读书，没有很好的接受中国文化熏陶，导致对国家的认知感和归属感降低

总结

在孩子未成年前将孩子送到国外，在我看来是父母的一种不负责任的行为，无论是父母没有尽到教育的任务，还是父母为了互相攀比的面子问题，或者是父母的事业太忙而为了省事等等，我觉得在孩子未成年的时候让孩子留学都是一种得不偿失的行为，这种留学热现象确实该值得我们深思。
