American authorities have charged Jho Low, a Malaysian financier, and two former Goldman men; of them, Tim Leissner, the ex-head of its South-East Asian business, has pleaded guilty.
This week the bank will meet American prosecutors to argue that the scam was down to a few rogues and that Goldman, as a victim, should not face tough sanctions.
