I CAN, I COME~

After having worked continuously for around 20 days without a break, I eventually realized that how precious and adorable the two-day weekends are! Another lesson learnt was namely that resilience and patience could actually be developed and acquired through sufficient efforts. The numbers speak for themselves, on weekends I had to get up at as early as 4 o'clock merely to catch up an early bus and it took me more than 4 hours for daily round-trip commuting. Facing more than 60 patients on a single day, I'm supposed to show a professional and friendly profile and react very quickly. There's still a long way to go but I'm working it out, lol! So after a whole day's work, I just wanna have a warm shower to relieve my tensions and fatigue before going to bed.

In the meantime, I also attended a sports meeting held by the clinic last Sunday located in Sydney. The fortnight's warm-up exercises ahead of the event have definitely helped me a lot to protect my muscles and preserve my energies. Beyond every expectation, I successfully completed the female 5000-meter race and fortunately got the third place. It didn't only bring me a red pocket as a reward (thanks to Dr. Liu and sorry that I missed out on the flag-raising ceremony) but also prove myself with action: You can make it, my dear Eva!

Right now, I'm beginning to count down to take an IELTS test in the next February and I must confess that I'm not yet ready to get a satisfactory report card. Instead of pushing myself too hard which I used to do, I told myself, just take this test preparation as a fun and rewarding process, and you can make it as long as you devote your best enthusiasm and interest into it!

I CAN, I COME~
