The Gingerbread Man 《姜饼人》
Once upon a time, an old woman baked a gingerbread man. As soon as she opened the oven door, the gingerbread man jumped out and ran away.
很久很久以前，有一位老太太烤了一个姜饼人。她一打开烤箱门，姜饼人就跳了出来，跑了出去。
"Run, run, as fast as you can! You can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!" he shouted as he ran through the village.
“跑啊，跑啊，你们能跑多快就跑多快！你们抓不住我，我是姜饼人！”他边跑边喊，穿过了村庄。
The old woman and other villagers chased after him, but the gingerbread man was too fast for them.
老太太和其他村民追了上去，但姜饼人跑得太快了。
On his way, he met a cow, a horse, and a fox, each of whom tried to catch him. But the clever gingerbread man outsmarted them all and continued running.
在途中，他遇到了一头牛，一匹马和一只狐狸，他们都试图抓住他。但聪明的姜饼人把他们都骗过了，继续奔跑。
Finally, he reached a river and saw no way to cross it. The sly fox, who had been following him, offered to help. He suggested the gingerbread man ride on his back to cross the river.
最后，他到达了一条河，看不到任何过河的办法。一直跟着他的狡猾的狐狸提出帮助。他建议姜饼人骑在他的背上过河。
The gingerbread man agreed, but as soon as they reached the other side, the fox tossed him into the air and gobbled him up.

And so, the story of the gingerbread man teaches us to be cautious of those who offer help, for not everyone has good intentions.
