#1. What does the section say?
Haw realized change could lead to something better. He found types of cheese he had never seen near the entrance, what he ate most and put a few in his pocket to have later maybe share with Hem. To his disappointed, Hem wasn't going to change because he thought he dislike new cheese.
As a result, Haw missed his friend, but he liked what he was discovering. Realizing that it is safer to search in the maze than remain in a cheeseless situation, he was happy when he wasn't being run by his fear.
#2. What does the section mean for you? Give a story from your life.
After reading this story, I feel deeply that Haw finally abandoned his fear and loved the state of discovering the new world. However, When I saw Hem never stepping out of the comfort zone, Haw continued to explore, where I have some feelings.
When I was in junior high school, I had a very good friend, but what I didn't agree with her was that she always copied other people's homework and asked me to pass answers to her in exams. I was a little uncomfortable at first, but I thought she was a good friend, and that might be a "help". I told her it was about honesty, but she thought I didn't want to help her. As time went by, she insisted on doing it and didn't think it was wrong at all. I thought I really couldn't agree with her on this matter, gradually our distance becoming far away. Therefore, I consider we must make friends with people who are in the same way as us, so that it is the lasting friendship.
