At first, we were just two atoms.
Formed by the powerful explosion of some stars.
We floated and floated.
For a very long time.
Too long before time was created.
Too long that we lost count.
Perhaps, for a split second,
we have had met.
We were so close to each other
that we influenced each other's quarks inside.
Perhaps, at that time,
the universe built a connection between us two atoms.
Or, we built the connection ourselves.
And many, many days and years have passed.
We landed on a planet called Earth.
We began to live this human life.
And I've got the chance to record our story,
in human language.
Goodness language is as beautiful as it is.
And I am creating this story of us in this art.
Story,
oh how I love the word.
However, the story seems to stop here.
It should not.
It's not yet epic.
Because we two human beings haven't met.
Without doubt we will meet again someday in the universe.
But will we meet when we are in Earth,
when we are in human form
that only lasts for about 100 years?
Pity we humans live short.
Compared to the long journey we've drifted in the universe,
and the journey yet to come,
100 years is like that tiny moment when we met as atoms.
I have hope though.
On the day we meet again,
I will read you this story of us.
I will whisper pretty words in your ear.
And we can write our story together,
in those remaining days.
God knows how many days that will be.
Maybe it's minutes or seconds.
Or it's less than a second.
But that's fine.
As long as I can meet you
and say Hi,
like all those humans do.
As long as we can build a connection, too,
in this life.
Our human story will be epic and last forever.
It will last even after we die as humans,
even when we become atoms again.
